Productivity
Aug. 3rd, 2010 09:57 amThis weekend I did stuff.
Mainly a lot of cleaning. Ryan's parents are staying for a few days next week and we really wanted to have it not look bad(aso so there were places to sleep).
There's been a huge improvement in the basement and the cats are really happy(room to run!).
So I'm really happy with the amount we got done and hopefully we will finish up next weekend. about 80% of all the cleanup was basically unpacking boxes from move in XD
Also, I got a new laptop! Brand new and super fast(compared to my old one. I am very happy with it, although I have been too busy playing Plants vs. Zombies on it to apperciate any other aspects.
Here's a comparison for fun:
Old laptop
Toshiba Satellite - 5 years old
1.6GHz, 512MB Ram, 80GB Hard Drive, Intel graphics card -
New One
Lenovo Ideapad - 3 days old
2.4GHZ(with i5 core that can go up to 2.93GHz), 4GB RAM(can be upgraded to 8GB), 320GB Hard Drive, Intel Graphics 5.0
Biggest downside - touchpad. I'm pretty reliant on using one and it's SO SO different from the Toshiba one, I'm having trouble adjusting to it (and adjusting the settings). Other than that, it's very nice :D
